The investment objective of the Company is to achieve long-term capital growth by investing in mainly smaller Asian quoted companies. The Company invests mainly in the shares of smaller Asian quoted companies, which have a market capitalization of below US$5,000 million. Its investments in various regions, which include Australasia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. The Company invests no more than 15% of its total assets in other listed investment companies (including listed investment trusts). It invests in various sectors, consumer staples, consumer discretionary, materials, financials, industrials, healthcare, technology, real estate, utilities and logistics. Its investment manager is First Sentier Investors (UK) Investment Management Limited.
