Profile Summary
BlueBird Merchant Ventures Ltd is a British Virgin Islands-based resource company. The Company is focused on the gold development business. It primarily targets mining projects in South Korea. The Company’s projects include the Kochang Gold and Silver Mine (Kochang) and Gubong Gold Mine (Gubong) in South Korea, and the Batangas Gold Project (Batangas) in the Philippines. Kochang Gold & Silver Mine is an epithermal vein deposit with parallel vertical ore bodies covering 8.3 square kilometers. The Kochang project is a dewatered mine that has accessed two production levels and surveyed more than three kilometers of mapped orebodies. Gubong is a gold mine in South Korea that has nine granted tenements covering c. 25 sq km. The Batangas Gold Exploration Project in the Philippines is a 1,160-hectare license with a mineral production sharing agreement (MPSA) granted. The project has a current JORC-compliant resource of approximately 440,000 ounces.
