Profile Summary
Churchill China plc is a United Kingdom-based manufacturer of performance ceramic. The Company’s principal business services hospitality market worldwide, providing tableware and other products to a number of sectors. Its customers include pubs, restaurant and hotel chains, sports and conference venues, health and education establishments, and contract caterers. It also manufactures and sources product sold through retail customers for consumer use in the home, again in many markets across the world. The Company operates through two segments: Ceramics and Materials. Ceramics segment is engaged in the sale of ceramic tableware and complementary items. Materials segment is engaged in the sale of materials for the production of ceramics, predominantly to the tableware industry. The Company’s subsidiaries include Churchill China (UK) Limited, Furlong Mills Ltd, Churchill China, Inc, Churchill Ceramica Iberia, S.L. and Churchill China RM S.R.L.
