STREET BLESSINGS (VOLUNTEER TEAM)

We’re a small organisation and we could definitely use extra helping hands! Volunteers help us out in the following ways:

• Set up, ushering, packing up at events
• Help out the BIAB team with any odd jobs that need to be done
• Sort out and organise the donations we receive
• Pack the boxes for shipping
• Assist in the planning, building and running of the children’s homes and orphanages

BLESSINGS IN A BAG AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

INTRODUCTION
Dear students, teachers, grassroots communities, individuals and business organizations! We are on the look-out for ambassadors to represent us! Till date, we have received positive feedback from the schools grassroots and business communities who are eager to partner with us.

HOW THIS WORKS
This programme is aimed at 3 levels: the schools, the grassroots community and the enterprise sector. The aim of this programme is to gain greater awareness and recognition in the various communities we have highlighted earlier.
We hope to attract like-minded people who have an interest in community or voluntary work to offer their time and expertise while taking on the role as an ambassador of this worthy cause!

HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED
If you are a teacher or a student, feel free to contact Darren or Tony to get our student package pack (filled with information and details) to get you started!

If you are from a business enterprise, grassroots community club or an eager individual, feel free to contact Darren or Tony so that we can give a better picture of how you may help!

HOW YOU CAN BENEFIT
FOR STUDENTS: Students will be awarded CIP (Community Involvement Programme) points, a “Certificate of Commendation” for their involvement and many more!

FOR ORGANIZATIONS: Business enterprises will get to partner with us on their CSR (Corporate Socially Responsible) Programme!

FOR COMMUNITIES: Grassroots communities and any individual off the street can get involve with our community projects. Through this programme, communities can build social awareness as well as rapport with your neighbours!

1. Architect - come work with us in the planning and construction of our children’s homes and villages
2. Civil Engineer - come work with us in the planning and construction of our children’s homes and villages
3. Interior Designer - come work with us in the planning and construction of our children’s homes and villages - fitting out the INSIDE with eco-friendly elements
4. Lawyer/Legal
5. Anyone in the field of expertise dealing with energy-efficiency, grey-water, water pump systems, eco-friendly construction, solar energy, etc. (you get our drift!)
6. If YOU have ANY talent or work in any indsutry - we’re pretty sure we NEED YOU! So, contact us!

SPONSOR US

Below is a list of the number of ways or things you can sponsor (please note that we are not a charity, but a non-profit organisations, so we can only accept PRIVATE DONATIONS or gifts-in-kind)

• Become our official shipping company or sponsor our shipments (Estimated to be at least 10 boxes a month when we enter full swing)
• Sponsor the building materials needed for the construction of our children’s homes and villages
• Sponsor a storage centre within the central area of Singapore that we can carry out our operations
• Sponsor eco-friendly items for the children’s homes (Eg, beds, tables, tableware, etc.)
• Become our official airline or sponsor our flights to the countries/villages we’ll be overseeing

PARTNER US

Below is a list of the number of ways you can partner with us:

• Schools/organisations/individuals may help to collect goods to be sent over to various beneficiaries and can also participate through our SCRIBBLY FRIENDS program.
• If there are any other ways you feel YOU can contribute to our cause - do let us know!
• Set up a donations box in your organisation or campus and arrange for the items to get dropped off to us.
• Involve us in any suitable events you may have planned.
