Weekly Update (July 6th 2009)
Hello Everyone! Thanks for checking in on us - we’re trying to streamline everything and make sure everyone on the team is up to speed with everything related to BIAB. So thank you very much for being patient and for encouraging us on the sidelines!
We’re going to try to see if we can update you weekly with everything that happens at Serene Centre (our main collection point!). So here goes the first of many!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We need volunteers to help freshen up our place this coming Sunday (12th July) at 2p.m! (Just a couple of hours!) We will continue to arrange the stuff in our home so that we can better manage the donated items we are receiving weekly! Please kindly drop either Emily, Darren or Tony a mail if you are free to lend us a helping hand. Hope to see you this coming weekend!
A BIG THANK YOU!
We would like to thank all our generous donors who have kept the gifts-in-kind coming through our humble doors. Photos of the items which we have collected for the past week have also been updated in our Gallery and will be uploaded on our Facebook group! We also extend our thanks to an anonymous donor who very nicely washed and packed items of clothing before sending them over to us. Your kindness is very much appreciated. Last but not least, we thank Jessica and Tiffany for dropping by today despite the heavy downpour.
HELP US BY HELPING YOURSELF!
We welcome teams who are going on overseas community involvement expeditions to come and collect items from Blessing In A Bag. Especially to groups looking to donate toys to kids on their trips. Drop us a line if you’re interested or if your team is flying off!
On behalf of the team,
Tony Tan
